It gives me immense pleasure to express my deep sense of gratitude to our founder, Late Shri Laxmanrao Jarkiholi, who established this esteemed institution in 1987. His vision and dedication were recognized with the prestigious “Priyadarshini Award” by the Union Government of India. Since its inception, the institution has fostered an excellent educational atmosphere, enabling students from all backgrounds to develop their physical, mental, educational, social, and cultural capabilities for a successful future.

Under this reputed institution, our Degree College began its journey in the academic year 1994–95 under the visionary guidance of our Honorable Chairman Dr. Bhimashi Jarkiholi and our dynamic Managing Director Shri Sanath Jarkiholi.

Since 1998, I have been honored and privileged to lead a team of dedicated educators, enthusiastic administrators, and supportive staff who work wholeheartedly to impart academic excellence, moral values, and life skills for the progress and prosperity of our students. I am deeply grateful to our respected Vice Chairman Smt. Suvarna B. Jarkiholi and Director Shri Sarvottam Jarkiholi for their constant inspiration and guidance in this challenging and fulfilling endeavor.

From an infrastructural perspective, the Arts section of our college houses two well-furnished Conference Halls, four advanced Computer Laboratories with over 120 computers, accessories, and projectors. Our well-equipped Science Laboratories provide hands-on learning experiences, while our extensive library offers a vast collection of books for academic enrichment. In addition, various cultural programs and recreational activities create a vibrant and stress-free environment for our students.

Following the guidelines of the University, various cells and committees have been established in the college, each actively conducting innovative programs for the holistic development of students. Our National Service Scheme (NSS) unit continues to nurture creativity, social responsibility, and leadership among students.

The alumni and current students of this esteemed institution have consistently contributed to the growth and reputation of the college through outstanding performances in academics, sports, youth festivals, and athletic meets. Many of them have achieved prominent positions at national and international levels while maintaining excellent academic results under Rani Channamma University. Our college values and ethics have deeply influenced students’ intellectual pursuits and overall personality development.
